Work experience

I am working  for  8  years  dedicated  to  support  and  implementation  of  server  based  computing solutions with Citrix and Microsoft products. I am CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator) since 2001 and Microsoft Certified Professional since 2003.

Today I work for a construction company located at Cobham, implementing Citrix to 800+ users and supporting this environment. Is a small environment, but is nice to implement and support considering some high complexity items on this environment, like Hybrid profiles, PN agent, application silos, high availability, etc.

Life
I have dual nationality, portuguese and brazilian and since June 2008 I am living in South East England.

Education

• 1999 – Technical of Data Processing course;
• 2001 – first Citrix certifications (CCA and CCEA for Metaframe 1.8);
• 2003 – Microsoft certification;
• 2004 – bachelors degree on Computer Science;
• 2007 – CCA and CCEA certification for Presentation Server 4.0;
• 2008 – CCA certification for Citrix XenApp 5 for Windows 2008;

Hobbies

My main interests are:

• Music. I play Saxophone Soprano since 1999.
• Railway modelling, that is a old interest, suprised by less space to build layouts.
• Read. I don’t like to spend my leisure time reading, but sometimes I prefer go to work by public transport earning time to read some books.
• Play Xbox 360 Live, mainly football games.
